     Gold Coins
THE US DOLLAR, THE FED AND GOLD

10-13-2009

What's happening to the US dollar? We're now seeing signs that the US dollar is taking a "dive" in international currencies. Other countries, particularly the OPEC countries, Japan, France, China and more are deciding they no longer want to sell oil and other products in US dollars. Instead they're talking about creating a basket of currencies to use as a world currency and it will INCLUDE GOLD.  Are you getting the picture of why I keep telling you to buy gold and get out of dollars? Our US dollar is about to devalue in the international arena in a big way. How much of what you buy comes from other countries? The majority!

How long will it take for this to happen? There's talk of it taking 9 years for this process to fully occur. Do NOT believe this. The cycles are much faster than that. Even the SLOWEST cycle would hit multiple times by 2012, and even that cycle starts by mid-2010 in a big way.

Actually, it's impacting the US dollar even now. In the next two - three months, we could see some very fast changes occur to the economy. I do not think we will have a financial "meltdown" but the power of the US is rapidly diminishing. And a lot of that power loss will come from the fact that the US dollar will not be used as the world currency.

What does that mean to you? It means our dollar will buy less and less of products from overseas, which is the majority of what's available in our consumer stores. But what does it mean to the US? It means other countries are not willing to buy our US Treasury bonds to finance the US debt. And it also means that other countries are tired of financing the wars that the US finances with those bonds. And what does all this mean to the derivatives and hedge funds? Probably that a lot more are going to fail.

I can guarantee you that the Fed is not only shaking in its boots, it's probably being reorganized or  restructured, even as I write this. The US dollar is its primary product (Federal Reserve Notes) and having their cash cow derailed is not going to help them maintain their status quo. But time is up for the Fed. It may wait until next July or August to change, but I guarantee you, it's being restructured behind closed doors. Of course the real question is whether the Fed will get MORE power over the financial markets, or if they will be required to stop charging the US government interest for each US dollar. The answer actually depends on us and what we will allow by our inaction. If we want to stop paying the highest percentage of the US debt to the Fed, then we have to send messages to Congress.

It's likely that this Fall, we will see the real cracks in the system. Don't be afraid of this. We need to get this stuff out in the open where it can be changed. We can't fix something that we don't know is broken. Unfortunately, the Fed was broken from the get-go, but we didn't know it. Most still people still don't know it or, like President Wilson said, we'd be up in arms and out in the streets. But we're not there yet.

So how does gold fit into this situation? Already the international community is asking for gold to have some portion of the "basket of world currencies". It's only a matter of time before the US dollar must be backed by gold or else face the potential to devalue to 50 cents or 25 cents on the dollar for international purchases. Do you think the US will sit by and lose their dollar without making any changes?? Not too likely! They will finally have to bite the bullet and back the dollar with some percentage of gold.  Monday's price of gold is about $1056 per ounce. But after a world basket of currencies is created and includes gold, OR the US dollar is backed by gold, the price could be $2000 per ounce? $5000 per ounce? Something in-between? Don't be fooled into selling your gold yet. If you don't yet have some standard gold coins, be sure to get some right away, even if you have to sell stocks or bonds to do it.

Food that will keep you awake

                         by Melanie Haiken ~ www.Caring.com

If you're having trouble sleeping, what about a midnight snack? Think twice-here are five foods that can prevent you from getting a good night's rest:

19 pound baby1. Preserved and smoked meats

Slap your hand away when it reaches to make a ham sandwich as an evening snack. Ham, bacon, sausages, and smoked meats contain high levels of the amino acid tyramine, which triggers the brain to release norepinephrine, a brain stimulant that makes us feel alert and wired.

Chocolate2. Chocolate
Love an evening cup of cocoa? That sundae in front of the TV? Be careful of chocolate in all its disguises. Many people are increasingly sensitive to caffeine as they get older, and even the little chocolate chunks in chocolate chip ice cream could zap you just enough to prevent ZZZZs. Chocolate also contains tyrosine, a stimulating amino acid.

Energy Drinks3. Energy drinks
Red Bull and other energy drinks are high in caffeine as well as the amino acid taurine, which boosts alertness and adrenaline. Recent studies have shown that even if you drink energy drinks early in the day, the combined high dosage of taurine and caffeine can make it hard to sleep, or to sleep well, later on.

Pizza4. Tomato sauce, chili, pizza, and spicy foods
Digestive disturbances are a common source of sleep problems, but many people fail to make the connection. Acidic and spicy foods can cause reflux, heartburn, and other symptoms that interrupt sleep.

19 pound baby5. The nightcap
A drink or two may make you feel more relaxed after dinner, but it comes back to haunt you-literally-a few hours later, by preventing you from achieving deep sleep. And because alcohol both dehydrates you and makes you have to pee, it wakes you up, too. Wine is high in the stimulant tyrosine as well.

Food to help you Sleep

Should you let yourself have that midnight snack if you're having trouble sleeping and you think hunger might be part of the problem? Here are five foods that can actually help you drift off:

Cherrys1. Cherries

Fresh and dried cherries are one of the only natural food sources of melatonin, the chemical that controls the body's internal clock to regulate sleep. Researchers who tested tart cherries and found high levels of melatonin recommend eating them an hour before bedtime or before a trip when you want to sleep on the plane.

Bananas2. Bananas
Potassium and magnesium are natural muscle relaxants, and bananas are a good source of both. They also contain the amino acid L-tryptophan, which gets converted to 5-HTP in the brain. The 5-HTP in turn is converted to serotonin (a relaxing neurotransmitter) and melatonin.

Toast3. Toast
Carbohydrate-rich foods trigger insulin production, which induces sleep. Bring on sleepiness by speeding up the release of tryptophan and serotonin, two brain chemicals that relax you and send you to sleep.

Oatmeal4. Oatmeal
Like toast, a bowl of oatmeal will trigger insulin production, raising blood sugar naturally and making you feel sleepy. Oats are also rich in melatonin, which many people take as a sleep aid.

Warm Milk5. Warm milk
Like bananas, milk contains the amino acid L-tryptophan, which turns to 5-HTP and releases relaxing serotonin. It's also high in calcium, which promotes sleep.

Finally, A Sensible Gun Registration Plan

VermontVermont State Rep. Fred Maslack has read the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as well as Vermont 's own Constitution very carefully, and his strict interpretation of these documents is popping some eyeballs in New England and elsewhere.

Maslack recently proposed a bill to register non-gun-owners and require them to pay a $500 fee to the state. Thus Vermont would become the first state to require a permit for the luxury of going about unarmed and assess a fee of $500 for the privilege of not owning a gun.

Maslack read the "militia" phrase of the Second Amendment as not only affirming the right of the individual citizen to bear arms, but as a clear mandate to do so. He believes that universal gun ownership was advocated by the Framers of the Constitution as an antidote to a "monopoly of force" by the government as well as criminals.

Vermont 's constitution states explicitly that "the people have a right to bear arms for the defense of themselves and the State" and those persons who "conscientiously scrupulous of bearing arms" shall be required to "pay such equivalent." Clearly, says Maslack, Vermonters have a constitutional obligation to arm themselves so that they are capable of responding to "any situation that may arise".

Under the bill, adults who choose not to own a firearm would be required to register their name, address, Social Security Number, and driver's license number with the state. "There is a legitimate government interest in knowing who is prepared to defend the state should they be asked to do so," Maslack says.

GunVermont already boasts a high rate of gun ownership along with the least restrictive laws of any state - it's currently the only state that allows a citizen to carry a concealed firearm without a permit. This combination of plenty of guns and few laws regulating them has resulted in a crime rate that is the third lowest in the nation.

   HUGE NEWS!

FEDERAL JUDGE Carter sets Trial Date for                             O'Bama's  Eligibility!!!

Judge Carter
The expedited trial has been set for Jan 26, 2010, just 4 1/2 months from now! I and many other concerned veterans and citizens attended the hearing
today in Federal Court in Santa Ana in the lawsuit against Barack Obama to determine his eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief.. About 150 people showed up, almost all in support of the lawsuit to demand that Obama release his birth certificate and other
records that he has hidden from the American people.

The judge, WHO IS A FORMER U.S. MARINE, repeated several times that this is A VERY SERIOUS CASE which must be resolved quickly so that the troops know that their Commander in Chief is eligible to hold that position and issue lawful orders to our military in this time of
war. He basically said OBAMA MUST PROVE HIS ELIGIBILITY to the court! He said Americans deserve to know the truth about their President!

The two U.S. Attorneys representing Barack Obama tried everything they could to sway the judge that this case was frivolous, but Carter would have none of it and cut them off several times.. Obama's attorneys left the courtroom after about the 90 minute hearing looking defeated and nervous.

Great day in America for the U.S. Constitution!!! The truth about Barack Obama's eligibility will be known fairly soon - Judge Carter practically guaranteed it!
